As a Senior Amazon Advertising Manager, you will be responsible for driving new strategies and improving client performance across Amazon’s digital ad solutions. You’ll own the client relationship for some of our largest accounts and work closely with our Paid Media Director and other senior leadership to create and deliver client strategy presentations.

A high level of expertise in Amazon advertising is expected, along with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate performance towards key KPIs and produce impactful insights from data. The ideal candidate is always looking to adopt new techniques and test ad types and features to ensure maximum ROI for our clients. This candidate will help grow our clients’ businesses while also acting as a trusted internal resource on Amazon strategy. 

The ideal candidate has people management experience in project management,  team coaching and leadership and owning team performance.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring efficient delivery, tracking, and optimization of Amazon Ads through platforms like Amazon Ads & Amazon DSP
  • Optimizing Amazon product detail pages including titles, bullets, descriptions, images, and A+ content for higher conversion rate and search ranking.
  • Playing a key role in dictating comprehensive Amazon marketing strategy for ecommerce clients
  • Overseeing the growth & development of Amazon media associates while playing a key role in shaping our growing Amazon department
  • Managing full-funnel Amazon strategies, focusing on aligning objectives and KPIs at each stage from awareness to conversion.
  • Monitoring ad delivery and budget pacing and making adjustments as needed.
  • Driving continuous improvement by testing, experimenting, and implementing new creative, A/B, and multivariate test design and optimization.
  • Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance and proactively implementing optimizations using data-driven insights.
  • Working with vendor contacts to ensure effective and accurate implementation of ad strategies. 
  • Providing client-facing reporting and clear communication regarding campaign performance and opportunities for account growth
  • Overseeing all Amazon operations including marketplace management, customer care, and supply chain.
  • Acting as the expert for all questions related to Amazon strategies, performance and industry benchmarks.
  • Leveraging market research and creative and strategic thinking for category evolution strategies.
  • Assist with Amazon operations, including fulfillment, inventory management, reviews, seller feedback and account health.
  • Owning sales & inventory forecasting; monitoring progress towards sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Minimum Qualifications & Skill Requirements:

  • 4-Year Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, economics, finance, analytics; or extensive relevant professional experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Amazon Ads and product listings in Seller/Vendor Central.
  • Extensive hands-on experience creating, optimizing, & analyzing performance of Amazon Sponsored Brand & Sponsored Product Ads
  • Experience leading & executing comprehensive Amazon strategy for clients, encompassing ads management, storefront management, product listing optimization and new product launches, and logistics / inventory management.
  • Extensive experience working with Amazon reporting tools and superior ability to analyze Amazon marketing data to form actionable insights and develop new strategies.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and superior ability to prepare and present performance data
  • Best-in-class  written and verbal communication skills and client relationship skills.
  • Experience with Amazon DSP Pacvue, Skai (Kenshoo) or Amazon Marketing Cloud is also a plus.

Office Hours

This role is based out of our Austin, TX office. We work on a hybrid basis at our office locations, with three days per week working in the office and two days per week working from home. Work hours are consistently 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday - Friday, with the expectation that evening and weekend work will be required as necessary.
